The Challenge
Most in-car entertainment systems are designed for individual screen consumption, leaving rear-seat passengers disengaged and disconnected. Our challenge was to create a shared entertainment experience that promotes collaboration, reduces screen fatigue, and remains compatible with the constraints of a moving vehicle.
My Role
I developed the core concept of BONGO, designing the console and controller ecosystem from the ground up. I designed, modeled, and 3D printed the physical components using Fusion 360 and Rhino, while also contributing to interaction design and prototyping. Additionally, I collaborated on the Arduino integration, helping assemble and connect the internal electronics that enabled the controllers to function as interactive devices.
Outcome
BONGO was selected to be exhibited during Salone Satellite at Milan Design Week 2026, showcasing a vision for future mobility centered on shared experiences, physical interaction, and collaborative entertainment.

BONGO
A modular in-car entertainment system that transforms rear-seat travel into a shared, interactive experience. Instead of individual screens, BONGO encourages collaborative storytelling, gaming, and music through physical controllers, a shared console, and immersive window projections — without compromising driver safety. Selected for exhibition at Salone Satellite, Milan Design Week 2026.
